Zindagi!

Zindagi ki masrufiyat main,
Uski yaad sagar banke palkon se phoot padti,
Ajeeb si bechaini Dil-o-dimagh main ghar kar leti hai.


Jab din ka ujala rat ki andheri chadar ko hathata,
Door kahin suraj ki us dhandi kiran se wo jhalakti si dikhti.
Mann chahe ke rooh ko subhah ki sard hawa main bikher doon,
Khushbu ki tarah ayun us subh,
Ushe mehka doon.

Ek dibiya si tang jagah men simta main baitha,
Sagar ke tal main khoya hoon.
Kabhi wo machli banke mujhe le jaye,
Aur gagan panchi ke sang indradhanush ke rangon men main ghuljayun.

Akela baitha ghar ke angan main chidiyon ko dekhta,
Baten karte - dana khate,
Apni marzi ke wo maalik,
Jab chahe choo-mantar hojate.

Aur main hathon apne qalam ko liye,
Sochta-girta-sambhalta-baitha,
Kore kagaz ko kora hi chod jata..............................!!!!!

My Insomnia!!

My agony surges by night,
Sleepless & Restless my plight.
Endless dreams fill my eyes;
Like the sunflower cherishing the lights.


Hours pass until its wee time,
Alas!My dorm is sullen by thoughts divine.
The worldly affairs past & future,
Night so scary fears nurture;

Toss & Turns my emotions find course,
Tears tinkle with wake & remorse.
Mama! May you appear like a fairy,
Your baby sleepless in night so scary.
May my ears apprehend your kinder tails;
And sleep swap pain in my veins,

May my eyes be shut & peace to me;
Thou fairies awaits at the end to thee!
O Lord! Is it an omen like an ancient verse?
Or a nightmare shatters talha like in curse.
O Lord! Is it the past that haunts;
Or the future that flaunts?

Give me sleep as thou world do.
My eyes begotten by mind spree.
Its getting late, my hearts beating,
Do i laugh my heart out or weep,
Alas! I hear dawn when i ain't asleep!!!!!!
