While i was Sleeping

Rains dwindled the misty fog,
Sunshine pierced the hazy clouds
Thunder shatters the air around
Then came the stars twinkling.

While i was sleeping,
The world was moving
From east to west & north to south,
from mountains to valleys,
dungeons and prairies.

Castles build and rulers reigned
Empires created & empires fall,
Tyrants came, think never to go,
Swarming waves deep rooted the chore.
Generation flourished
children to children, past & future.

While i was sleeping,
success they run, comforts they sow
some joyous, others just sorrow.
Relations made, relations broken
Some faced the fist of fury,
while others lucky they go.

Pace was high, journey to fly,
Inventions were made, discoveries abide.
fences mend, walls raised,
frontiers defined, evil soar.

Some abide goodness, others evil,
mastered their will,
some open, some restraint.
Bound by destiny, favored by time,
Halt, fall, moving in time.

While i was sleeping,
the world changed,
Only some hundred thousand years i slept
God knows how much more to go,
For world never ceases,
people never stops,
They go & go & go.

Lest realize thee,
They will join me,
one day will they sleep,
And we wake up together,
In a world unknown
Then do thee see,
Was it awake we were,
or slumber passes we.
